Kennedy High Holds CTE Academy Fair

This comes to us from Gina Cusato-O'Neal, the Media Coordinator at John F. Kennedy High:

The John F. Kennedy CTE Academy Fair was held on March 28. The fair allowed families to see how the JFK CTE Academy concepts/strategies are integrated into courses, to give students an opportunity to share the real-world skills they’ve learned and give parents a chance to experience what their students are learning.
The ProStart Academy students helped prepare a spaghetti dinner and served the meal to JFK families. The Masonry and Construction Academy featured hands-on brick and mortar projects.
Other classroom features included a book-tasting diner, TV production on green screen, an Earthquake Tower challenge, financial literacy, historic advertising, and a health science pharmacy.
