Four Hanes alumni are heading to N.C.
School of Science and Mathematics!!!
The graduating class of 2021 at the N.C.
School of Science and Math will have four Hanes students.
Jane Crowley (currently attending
Reynolds) and Jada Targett (currently attending Atkins) have selected to attend
the campus in Durham. Sarvesh Venkittu and Joah Macosko, who both go to Reagan,
have selected the online version of the program.
Only 325 students are selected per
class throughout the entire state. In addition, there are quotas on how many students
are selected per district. It is quite an achievement for these students
as well as Hanes Magnet.
Our alumni are role models.
The PTSA and staff at Hanes are #dragonproud. Well done.
