Reagan High Jazz 2 Students Play for Students at Mineral Springs Middle

Mineral Springs music teacher Kim Bounds and Reagan band director Kenneth Tysor collaborated to bring Reagan High School Jazz 2 class to play for the Bulldogs at Mineral Springs Middle School on Tuesday.

“Mineral Springs Middle School is the perfect venue for performing arts endeavors, as the school features a historic, large auditorium (dating back to 1948), with a beautiful concert grand piano,” said Stephanie Turner, the media coordinator.

“Sharing different types of jazz music for the middle school students, the Jazz 2 class is made up mainly of freshman and sophomores. The caliber of music, the selection of songs, and the professionalism demonstrated by the high school students was outstanding! Bravo to the Jazz 2 ensemble at Reagan High School! We are looking forward to future performances!”
