The Winston-Salem Youth Chorus will hold its annual Winter Celebration concert - “Sing Me the Sounds of Winter” - on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. at Hanes Auditorium at the Salem Fine Arts Center on the campus of Salem College.
Ninety
singers from 8 to 18 years old will perform a variety of choral pieces. Tickets
for the concert are $15 for adults, $10 for students and senior citizens.
Tickets can be purchased in advance through our website at www.wsyouthchorus.org or by calling (336)
703-0001 from 9:30a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or at the door. Proceeds
will help pay for the operations of the chorus.
On
Dec. 5 and Dec. 7, the chorus will hold auditions for children in grades 3
through 12 for the 2017 Winter/Spring semester which begins on Jan. 2. For more

The
Winston-Salem Youth Chorus is a nonprofit arts organization comprised of
auditioned singers grades 3-12h representing more than 40 schools in
Forsyth and surrounding counties. Annual tuition is kept at a modest rate and
scholarships are provided to those in need in order to keep the program
available to all children and youth in the community.
