Carver Students Work on Habitat for Humanity House

From Natalie Gwishiri, Social Studies Teacher/Academy of Hospitality and Tourism, Carver High School:

On Saturday, Beta Club went to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity last Saturday. The house is right down the street from here on Carver School Road.

The students learned how to frame a roof, lay down shingles, hurricane proof walls and frame closets. They persevered through bitter cold weather, snow and rain.
