This comes to us from Theresa Bryant, the English teacher at West Forsyth High who serves as Key Club Sponsor:

This weekend, 21 of the newly elected executive members of Key Club traveled to Durham to attend the Carolinas District Convention. The district consists of over 15,000 Key Clubbers and over 230 active clubs in North and South Carolina.

They were awarded the following because of their incredible service efforts in the 18-19 year:

Club Awards:
  • First Place District Project Award

  • Helping Hands award for the Boys and Girls Home of NC

There are over 300 Key Clubbers at West. Be sure to congratulate them if you see them on campus. This past year they have completed over 18,000 hours of service, donated 85 gifts for two families at Brenner's Children's Hospital at Christmas and have raised more than $11,000 for various charities.
