Trout, Reagan High School & WXII Television

At Reagan High School, science teacher Lori Heath's class is participating in Trout in the Classroom for the third year.

“Sounds like fun, right?” said Heath. “It is actually fun and a great opportunity to learn! Students learn all about how trout interact with their biotic and abiotic surroundings (ecology), how pH, ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates work for fish in water (chemistry), and how what humans do can affect the life of the trout (Environmental).”

WXII's Michelle Kennedy visited this class to find out just how this all works. To see Kennedy’s story, go to WXII
