Two students – one from Reynolds High and one from Hanes
Magnet – placed first at the state level in the annual PTA Reflections contest.
Haley Jacob at
Reynolds placed first in photography, and Andrew
Gillett at Hanes placed first in literature. These first-place entries have gone on to compete at the national level.
Locally, Reflections is sponsored by the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Council of PTAs. Renee Canada and Marshalla Sitton served as the co-chairs for Reflections. Angie Vaughn is the
president of the WS/FC Council of PTAs.
