Winston-Salem
Preparatory Academy held first annual Student Art Show.
The artwork of both
Middle and High School students was featured on Tuesday, May 21st from 5 to 7 p.m.
in the Media Center. Student art from the entire school year was put on display
for staff, students, and community to see.
This is my first year at
Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy but I have been teaching art for 10 years and
I have always held a student art show at each school. It is important that we
showcase the work students are doing and give them incentives and high
expectations for achievement.
The students at Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy
are very talented and need to have opportunities for recognition of their hard
work, dedication, and contributions to the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools
district.
Ms. Watkins first annual Student Art Show was awesome. The students' artwork was phenomenal. Your Prep family appreciates all the hard work and dedication that you pour into our students and staff!! Great Job :-)!!!!!!!!
