Last Friday, our school welcomed visitors from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Department, Belk and Belkie Bear himself. All of our students participated in a holiday sing-along and then our visitors gave a Belkie Bear to each of our students.
Belkie Bear then visited each classroom to see our students and get more pictures. This is a long-standing tradition that goes back at least 25 years. We have a room named after Jack Stack and the Belk Foundation. Each year a new Belkie Bear is added to a shelf in that room.
