Fifth-grader VeNise
Wilkins is the 2017 Amazing Shake Champion at Moore Elementary School.
“VeNise conquered five
rounds of real-world challenges such as elevator pitches, working a room,
interviews, delivering a speech, and table etiquette to be announced as the
winner of the inaugural competition in front of the entire school,” said Principal
Adam Dovico. “Various rounds were held at Wake Forest University, Brenner
Children's Hospital, and the WS/FCS Education Building."
“In addition to a trophy
and her name being added to the Amazing Shake banner, VeNise was surprised with
a chance to participate in the Ron Clark Academy Amazing Shake National
Competition, being held Feb. 9-11 in
Atlanta."
“In a final twist,
runner-up Eliana Greene was also informed that she too would have a chance to
participate in the National Amazing Shake!"
