Reynolds Students Sing for Acclaimed Composer

This comes to us from Pamela Henderson-Kirkland, the Arts Magnet Director at Reynolds High School:

This past weekend, Reynolds students Caroline Thomas and Catherine Blanco had the opportunity to sing for Dan Forrest, an internationally acclaimed American composer.

Here they are with Forrest at the world premiere of the breath of life, a piece he wrote that was commissioned in memory of Suzanne Goddard, a supporter of Bel Canto Company.

Bel Canto Company – a 48-member ensemble of professional singers – performed the piece in a concert at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Greensboro.
