On Thursday, Rep. Debra Conrad, who represents Forsyth County in the N.C. General Assembly, spent the morning at Paisley IB Magnet School,
After visiting classrooms and meeting with Principal Gary Cone and others to talk about the International Baccalaureate Programme at Paisley, she headed out to take a look at the construction site for the new building that will be home to both Paisley and Lowrance Middle School.
Colon Moore, who is the Director of Construction/School Planning, led the tour.
Also on the tour were Karen Roseboro, who is an Instructional Superintendent, and Ashley Goodlett, an Assistant Principal at Wiley Magnet Middle School who is interning with Roseboro.
With all of the recent rain, the ground was soaked. So, rather than trying to walk around the site, everyone stood at the edge of the site while Moore filled them in. Supervisors working on the site also came over and met Conrad.
