At a recent meeting, the Lewisville Town Council honored Lewisville Elementary School.
“We
are very proud of the achievements at Lewisville Elementary School and feel
very fortunate to have the staff, teachers, parents and children as part of our
wonderful community,” said Lewisville Mayor Mike Horn. “Principal Choplin and
her staff do an amazing job working with the kids to help them realize their
academic potential and develop
outstanding character that will serve them well throughout their lives.”

elementary school, is directly related to their professional and personal
success in life; and
Whereas:
It is the mission of our public school system to provide the highest level of
educational instruction and opportunities to our children; and
Whereas:
Every day the highly committed, talented and caring teachers and staff at
Lewisville Elemntary School strive to provide an outstanding learning
environment for our children; and
Whereas:
In the 2016-17 school year End of Grade achievement tests our own Lewisville
Elementary was rated among the top 4% in the state for proficiency and student
academic growth in North Carolina’s Standard Course of Study in English
Language Arts, Reading, Mathematics and the Essential Standards in Science;
Be
