Girls' Volleyball Teams at Atkins and Walkertown High Raise $1,000 to Support Fight Against Breast Cancer

On Tuesday, Coach David Prim and the members of the girls’ volleyball team at Atkins Academic & Technology High School presented a check for $1,000 to Susan B. Komen, a national organization that supports education and research into breast cancer.

Each year, the members of the girls’ volleyball teams at Atkins and Walkertown High School have been raising money to support breast cancer education and research. This year’s project culminated with a “Pink Out” game on Oct. 4.
