On
Tuesday, students at Jefferson Elementary School duct taped physical education
teacher Sheri King to the wall.
Here’s
how that came to happen:
“Last
year Jefferson Elementary raised approximately $5,500 during their Jump Rope
for Heart Campaign,” King said. “This year we set a goal of $10,000. If the
students met that goal the top fund raisers would get to duct tape me to the
gym wall. Needless to say, they met that goal!
“We
had 205 students who raised almost twice as much this year than we did last
year. As of right now, we have raised $10,771!
“As
you can imagine, we are very proud of our students!”
