At Reagan
High School, science teacher Lori Heath's class is participating in Trout in
the Classroom for the third year.
“Sounds
like fun, right?” said Heath. “It is actually fun and a great opportunity to
learn! Students learn all about how trout interact with their biotic and
abiotic surroundings (ecology), how pH, ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates work
for fish in water (chemistry), and how what humans do can affect the life of
the trout (Environmental).”
