In the Thursday Aug. 2 issue of the
Winston-Salem Journal, special correspondent Kathy Norcross Watts writes about a luncheon that the Alpha and Omega Church/Family Institute sponsored in conjunction with the school system's Amazing Summer Escape Challenge. Adults took students back in time by sharing their memories of such people as Martin Luther King Jr. and John F. Kennedy.
